Wow, my day has seriously been comic book oriented.

First I saw the Wolverine movie which I did enjoy! I laughed when he screamed HRRRRROOUUGHHHH instead of going NOOOOOOO both times, and my friends had NO IDEA WHY I WAS LOLING. Overall I thought some of the special effects were a bit lame and that it needed more Gambit with french accent (I wasn't impressed to begin with but he grew on me), more speaking Pietro :|, more cameos, more dramatic explosions, more HRRRRROOOUUUUGHHHHHH and less blob and less DIAMONDS ARE EMMA'S BEST FRIEND. I bet I'll start complaining about it more when I start reading the Deadpool that otilu gave me, since I'm pretty sure he is meant to have a mouth 8| (Also I didn't know that Sabretooth was Logan's brother but I'm assuming this is either true or something they did for the movie?) But I did enjoy it :3

Then I went to forbidden planet and bought some Runaways Trades and the Young Avengers Presents trade (SHUTUP SQUEAK I NEEDED IT AND I'M TOTALLY GOING TO NEVER READ TEDDY'S ONE ;A;) and got into a conversation about Tommy with one of the dudes looking at the other trades c: THEN we went on an epic book store trek and I got two +Anima books that I was missing (still need 10 but I haven't read 9 so!) and I considered buying the Umbrella Academy but decided against it and THEN THEN we got cheap DVDs (FERN GULLY 8D and The Science of Sleep) and went to wagamama's for lunch/dinner where I drew little wolverines going HRRRRRROOOUGHHH.

I had a good day 8)

I was gonna pick up my issue of Runaways from the post office, Squeak, but it was closed when I got back for 'Unforeseen Reasons' 8(

I'm gonna take a nap now, since I've got to sort out what I'm doing for that presentation tomorrow with my friends later and I'm exhausted. @_@

ahhhh omg I totally just saw Wolverine too, last night 8D. I thought it was really good but I kind of agree about the special effects- to me it almost seemed like they overdid them to a point that it made things look less realistic at times, but I don't really know anything about that kind of stuff so IDK I guess lol. They seemed a bit lame at times for sure.

Was Pietro really in it though? I didn't even notice ^^;. And Deadpool was sort of a dissapointment but asdkjaskldja RYAN REYNOLDS <3.

IDK some of the claws effects looked really fake and I wasn't really impressed with them. A lot of the time they were okay, it was just sometimes that they were really noticeably lame :I

Yeahhhh same here basically. Some of the effects were really cool but there were certain scenes that just didn't look right I guess.

Yup! Though like.. in the cinema I when the ads were on I actually NOTICED that the screen wasn't 16:9 ratio because I'm a fucking lameass animation student and now I notice these things orz

it seriously needed MOAR FRENCH GAMBIT THOUGH WHAT THE HELL. Also less BLINGEE EMMA FROST.
