I've been feeling like I've needed a change for a while, and after some events this evening finally decided to do it. Just a small change to match my DA page, twitter and to make my muse box make more sense.

This one is much cuter anyways :)

(lol wrong account to comment but w/e), also I did try to use the magical LJ cut tool, both with the shiney button version and typing in everything manually, but neither worked for me! D: I think I'm just doomed to be incompatible with computers forever... Ah well, I'll just use what I have and get better slowly ;w;

Yup, you can do that! And you can also select the community you want to post to from a drop-down list on the main posting form. (http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml <- this one)

Just find where it says Post too: and it should have your username. If you click that, it'll bring up a drop down list and you can select the right comm :)
