What song are you currently addicted to?
Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit by Neil Patrick Harris, from How I Met Your Mother. I love NPH :D

What books are you currently reading?
I'm reading From Mouse to Mermaid for uni research, which is a book about the representation of females in Disney films. BUT I just finished Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones, which I ENJOYED WAY MORE THAN THE MOVIE.

What is the one skill you wish you had?
I'd like to play some sort of instrument.

If you had the chance to go back in time for 24 hours, where and when would you go?
UHH. IDK. It would probably be going back in time to stop me from making a fool out of myself though, lmfao

If zombies are dead, how can they walk?
They aren't actually dead, and each zombie is actually a delicately made steam powered machine. They can walk thanks to a series of pulleys.

What was your favourite TV show as a kid?
In Bermuda I was really addicted to Kratts Creatures and Bill Nye the Science Guy, and then when I came to the UK it was all about Dragon Ball Z (lol)/Pokemon/Card Captor Sakura/Worst Witch.

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Gmail, LJ, Deviant Art, LOLcats, facebook, Global Pokedex Online, University mail inbox and youtube.

What was the last thing you bought?
A kitkat. But in like an hour I'm going into Cardiff for a POKEMON EVENT with some of the more adorable first years. SO EXCITED.

Coke or Pepsi?
I don't really drink either, but if I'm forced I'd pick Cherry coke.

Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
YUP. The other day I was craving popcorn for some strange reason.

What do you do to change your mood?
Oddly enough, talking to people does help me wind down, but not everyone wants to put up with that so usually I'll watch youtube videos and play carameldansen really loudly. And dance to it. Obnoxiously.

What was the last meal you ate?
I made a chicken tika masala last night for dinner :)

Five things you can't live without.
1. INTERNET
2. Some form of physical contact, be it hugging, petting or holding hands. I love me some snuggles
3. And on that vein, FRIENDSHIP.
4. Money. Though it's getting pretty close to me being broke, so that is a possibility that might be explored soon 8|b
5. Sleeping.

What is the closest purple thing near you?
MY GLASSES ARE PURPLE.

What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
Person A: "I wish you'd just own up to it. We all know that you did it, and the fact that you're lying to my face about it is just making me angrier."

Person B: "I'm sorry I've been giving off those vibes lately, and I am really going to do my best to try and stop it. I'm sorry you've had to deal with me like this."

Person C: "I wish you wouldn't do that. You are distancing yourself from us and then complain when we have all these new inside jokes and have done fun things when you're gone. You can't afford it, and you're just making stupid excuses."

What are you looking forward to?
POKEMANS, END OF PROJECT DEADLINE, EASTER AHHH

If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
If I was on death row, I'd probably be too nervous to eat 8( But my mother's Eton Mess would be nice.

The world is going to finish in one hour. How are you going to spend that hour?
Telling people how much they mean to me, and telling people what I really think of them.

Okay, brb, going to a Pokemon event in cardiff and then hanging out in a sushi bar with first years and BATTLING THEM AND BREEDING POKEMONS FOR THEM AND TRADING AND AWESOME.

I'll try and take photos.

Ohhh, that Disney book sounds really interesting? How is it?

ENJOY YOUR POKEMONS. 8D And sushi, I hope it is tasty~

It's actually pretty interesting! I only used certain chapters for my last essay that I wrote so a full read is in order. I'm enjoying it though!

We actually didn't go for sushi in the end, it was too expensive ;A; BUT I HAD FUN ANYWAY

sushi *^* /jealous

ALSO HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE. such a good book, and definitely better than the movie, much as I do enjoy the movie as well. but they're like ... really, really different. so I tend to think of the movie as an entirely separate entity or something. btw sorry I kinda randomly skitted off last night, my internet and messengers were being weird sjdkfl

WE ENDED UP GOING TO WAGS but I still had fun.

Oh man, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. It's amazing how much Miyazaki puts himself into adaption of books--like the planes and there being a war going on in the background of the movie and turning the good Wizard Suliman evil and changing his gender completely and making him into an evil Mrs Pentstemmon--and though it's really different from the book I still enjoy both. But yeah... they are totally different things.

I was so worried I'd upset you ;A; I'm sorry for being a complete bitch last night

WAGS IS STILL NICE

dfjklsdf oh Pura. I was generally kind of HNNGRH at a lot of people last night and sort of gave up at one point on trying to talk to anyone so ... it's okay. Stress and miscommunication and bollocks and all get to all of sometimes, and ily very much still, kay? ♥

[identity profile] purapea.livejournal.com 2010-03-14 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
IT WAS. I HAD CHICKEN RAMEN, AND THEN POURED THE KATSU CURRY SAUCE IN IT. IT WAS DELICIOUS.

Yeah, I just. I'm really sorry I was so snappy with you. It was totally unfair, but I was really really upset and angry and stressed and ahh. I'm going to avoid aim tonight, since i have work to do and it would probs be better for everyone to have a break from me >>; but ilu2

[identity profile] purapea.livejournal.com 2010-03-14 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Maria that is not a lunch. That is a snack. |':

sorry, I should've texted you to tell you that I was okay. @@ I don't really want to think about how I feel about it in general with all this work that I have to do, so I'm going to be ignoring it till I can actually sort my brain out. At the moment, I'm just going to step back for a while.

[identity profile] countersparking.livejournal.com 2010-03-15 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
... yes well. >>;

Again that's totes understandable. I hope you feel better soon, and good luck with your work 8(
