Okay so I've just spent the last like, ten minutes looking at Battle Frontier application forms on deviant art. You know, it's one of those meme things you fill in with a pokemon team and a an OC and enter a comic contest where the battles are drawn out. This doesn't sound particularly bad until you find out that in those ten minutes, I went through several forms and shouted at the computer because:

a) their movesets are completely and utterly not thought out and they have like three water type moves on one water pokemon and it makes no sense and taught Thunder and Shock Wave to a Raichu and omfg what why would you do that
b) looked at someone with an Ampharos on their team with Zap Cannon listed as a move and was like what ampharos can't learn zap cannon and had to double check to make sure I was right, which I was
c) got into a major RAEG discussion about this with hikaridonya, whilst the other people in the room look at us like we had something wrong with our brains.
d) RAEG


Again, why can't I study pokemon for my degree?

I totally agree with you on those gripes.
And wish I could major in pokemon, or at least video games, too.

One of the things I did to pass the time at my last job was decide on good movesets/remind myself of moves learned for pokemon >>;;;

Man I know nothing about battles, really, I stick with moves that are like HI WE HAVE FAIRLY GOOD DAMAGE AND LOTS OF PP!!1! Since I never battle anyone.
