I SURVIVED. SOMEHOW.

Man, I never realized how much work I can actually get done if I don't have the distraction of the internet. I'm probably going to be giving away my cable a lot more in the future, because seriously I did so much work. Anyways, here's the final, which youtube decided to squish, yet again. I seriously don't know what it's problem is since I exported in 16:9. By the end of this project, my writing hand had stiffened into a horrific claw shape, and I have a blister on my pinky from the rubbing on the tablet, and it still hurts to use a pen BUT IT IS OVER.

I am so much better now that I don't have that to worry about.
Here is what I have been doing since I completed my work:

→ Slept
→ Played Pokemon and worked on filling my national dex
→ Watched Princess and the Frog
→ Took over 300 screenshots of Princess and the Frog
→ Made 135 icons (including human!Naveen, Lottie and Facilier) of Princess and the Frog, and I intend to make more since these are only from the first 20 minutes of the film.
→ Booked plane tickets to New York for this summers American Adventure. I still have to book internals, but I'm not doing that till April
→ More sleeping
→ Got grades back on last project, was pleasantly surprised with a C grade as I thought I'd failed /o/
→ Worked on CV for Wagamama
→ Had a bizarre dream about mermaids who looked like the creatures in Avatar but with fish tails, and who stole small children from schools, claiming them to be their own 'daughters and sons of the sea'. There was a trippy underwater grotto, and lots of blue sparkly mermaids and I don't even. Yeaaah.

Thanks to everyone who posted support on my last journal. Although I didn't see it straight away, I was still checking my emails on my friends computer when I'd done a certain number of scenes, so it really helped uplift me when all other hope had been lost.

In other news, I have renamed my icon community (chaicons) because the old name was bugging me a lot. I spruced, made it look pretty and posted some Stock, Pokemon and Up icons in celebration. And of course, whilst I was remodeling the layout, I somehow deleted mine. And didn't realize until all the codes for my old layout were unrecoverable. YAY. B|

Thankfully I managed to find the base layout that I'd originally used and quickly remade it (quickly being like, 2 hours of coding), but it's not the same. I think I'm going to have to completely remake it with a different theme because I don't like it atm. I'm overdue for a new layout anyways. Sob.

Anyways, it would be awesome if you could all check out chaicons! If you have an icon community yourself, I'm taking affiliates now :) regardless of the fact that I'm not popular enough for them to matter So if you'd like to affiliate, please give me a heads up :D

Out of the internet, I have so much work to be doing but I'm not doing it. I have a problem with distraction lately (...as you can probably tell) and it's just so hard to actually sit down and do work. Especially now that my timetable has been reconfigured I only have to go in on Thursdays and Fridays. Derp. I'm sure it'll improve, since I've got a deadline coming up... but I'd rather actually sleep than work on my Dinosaur animation 8(

Someone give me a kick pls.

Also, I posted some more Runaways icons at my graphics comm as well as some Pet Avengers one (FROG THOR GUYS. FROG. THOR.) so go check them out if you've got a sec (: I'm pretty proud of them! (They are kind of spoilerific though, so be warned!)

I think after I finish my school project, I'm going to go back and rework some of my old Kingdom Hearts icons and repost the Axel ones I took down since now that I've worked out a good system for iconning, I look back on those and CRINGE. Also I think I'm going to make some Young Avengers ones and some Marvel Adventures ones methinks. SO watch this space!

I finally got around to finishing off some batches of icons (and remodelling that old journal layout 8|;) I've been working on for the past few months on and off, and posted them up on my graphics comm (purapeagraphics) so if you could check them out if you have a minute that would be awesome. Just some stock icons and some Teen Titans icons, but I'm getting an Axel post together as well as some Young Avengers and Runaways - and on top of that I've been building some profile layouts too - so if you want to keep track of that please watch the comm c:


Other than that I went lifedrawing/shopping with my friend silverbrumby123 today, and bought some new clothes and a dvd. 8) I also got myself an ipod touch which was supposed to be for my birthday so I'm not actually allowed to play with it till Sunday, which blows, but HEY. ipod Touch!

- Also we heard back about the mac and it's not the power cable that's causing the problem but probably the battery, and I don't want to spend £50 fixing that up ontop of what I've already paid when I know its not going to be very useful for me. Sighh. I'll get a mac SOME day. At least I've finally broken my Apple virginity with the ipod, hurrhurr.

Last day of antibotics tomorrow and I'm not feeling any better. Methinks its time to book another appointment. I really hope this isn't glandular fever (or Mono to you americans) because I do NOT want my summer ruined by illness. That and I have a hella lot of deadlines fast approaching and if I'm sick through them I don't know what I'll do. Fuuuck.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to pass out now.
